Famous pals to call Liveline

A HOST of famous voices are expected to phone in tomorrow for Joe Duffy’s final Liveline show.

After 37 years working at RTE, the Dubliner is set for retirement.

After almost 30 years hosting Liveline, Joe, 69, can expect calls from some of his famous pals before departing from the station.

But RTE are keeping tight-lipped at some of the guests who will be on the show.

A spokesman for RTE said: “We're doing a special Liveline show next Friday mark Joe's 27 years presenting the programme.

“The show will be filled with music, celebration and friends of the show from over the years will be in attendance.”
