Spurs line up a Poch return
Irish Daily Star
|February 12, 2026
FORMER Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is being considered as a replacement for Thomas Frank - but Spurs would have to wait until AFTER the World Cup to appoint him.
Tottenham finally ran out of patience with Frank and sacked him after Tuesday's 2-1 defeat to Newcastle which left them firmly in a Premier League relegation fight.
Coach
Spurs want a new boss in place by Monday, but could turn to an interim and wait for Pochettino (53), who will coach the USA in the World Cup this summer.
