Spillane: Ger must add to Dubs set-up

‘SSHREWD: Ger Brennan will surely add to backroom team

PAT Spillane reckons Ger Brennan will add “a couple of pieces of the jigsaw” to his Dublin management team to overcome what he sees as a lack of coaching experience.

Brennan has named former Dublin All-Ireland teammates Dean Rock, Stephen Cluxton and Denis Bastick as part of his backroom team.

The St Vincent's man also has DCU's Professor of clinical exercise physiology, Niall Moyna, who was with him in Louth for two years and a coach when Brennan played in Dublin's 2011 All-Ireland victory under Pat Gilroy.
