Derry Girls star vows to bring the style like other hosts

SIOBHAN: IT'LL BE GOOD BOLD FASHIONED FUN!

TRAITORS host Siobhan McSweeney is set to dress to impress in her new role of master of ceremonies on the Irish version of the show - as she follows in some very fashionable footsteps.

The Cork actress, 45, plans to emulate the eye-catching style of fellow presenters Claudia Winkleman from the original UK version and Alan Cumrning in the American one.

Both Claudia and Alan have become fashion icons due to their signature looks, which are often copied by viewers of the show.

Derry Girls star Siobhan - known for her theatrical style - has said she will carry on this tradition all while showcasing some Irish couture during the show's 12-episode run, which kicks off tomorrow.

The host's look is key in the reality show - because it needs a ringmaster who can add to the suspense, drama and haunting tension.

The Traitors is a game of deception filmed over 12 episodes where the “traitors” try to fool the “faithfuls” and rernain unidentified.

Contestants face elimination by public vote at the round table.

Both the US and UK versions are filmed in the spooky Ardross Castle near Loch Ness.

Siobhan - already a style icon for her look, which mixes androgyny with high femininity - has heaped praise on Scottish actor Alan for his dramatic oufits on The Traitors USA.
