Shock at death of 'popular fella' Tom

A MAN described as "quiet and unassuming" has been killed in a car crash.
Tom Walsh, who was in his early 60s, died in a collision with another vehicle on the N55 at The Pigeons in Co Westmeath, at 11am on Thursday.
A man in his 80s, who was his passenger, was brought to Tullamore's Midlands Regional Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second car, also in his 80s, was brought to the same hospital.
He too is expected to recover from his injuries.
