Slot's defensive demands after Palace woe
ARNE SLOT warned that Liverpool need to be better defensively if they're to reign as kings of England again this season.
The Reds lost a Community Shield penalty shootout to Crystal Palace at Wembley after the Eagles twice came from behind against the Premier League champions.
Liverpool have splashed the cash this summer with €340m spent on new recruits with more to come — and could even move for Palace defender Marc Guehi.
But Slot was not happy with how they've defended in preseason ahead of their campaign kicking off on Friday at home to Bournemouth.
