SHAMED REF FACES JAIL FOR CHILD VID

DISGRACED former football referee David Coote is facing a possible jail term after he admitted making an indecent image of a child.

The ex-Premier League official, 43, was arrested after police found a sickening video on his laptop in February.

Nottingham Crown Court heard the vile film of a 15-year-old was classed as category A - the most serious of the categories, carrying a maximum sentence of three years.

Coote pleaded guilty to a single charge and was warned by a judge that he could face prison. He will be sentenced at the same court in December.
