ROSSBRIDGE makes as much appeal as any starting out over fences in this novices' handicap.
A point winner as a four-year-old at Ballycrystal, he's been marking time over hurdles, jumping well when winning at Ludlow in February 2024 but giving the impression he would need fences to show him at his best.
He returned from a lengthy absence in September and has looked in need of a couple of spins over hurdles to regain a competitive edge, and now switched to fences with the Donald McCain stable in good form, with 8 winners in the past fortnight, including a Listed Race at Aintree on Saturday.
