MARK ROBINS is at least taking encouragement from Stoke's hunger to shoot as he looks for the goals needed to mount a promotion challenge.

Stoke have managed 51 shots in three games against Norwich, Middlesbrough and Blackburn but only found the net twice.

Manager Robins (above) was visibly frustrated with just three draws to show for all their attacking endeavour.

His side have surpassed expectations to occupy a play-off place in the opening weeks of the Championship race.
