Average 2-bed apartment is €2k a month
THE price of rent has risen nationwide over the last year, with an average two bed apartment setting people back over €2,000 a month.
Market rents nationally rose by 4.4% during 2025, according to the latest rental report by Daft.ie, compared to an increase of 3.6% during 2024.
This latest Rental report sees an updated methodology and new metrics on room rents, as well as rentals of full properties.
Measures of rents on a like-for-like basis over time area available, nationally and regionally, extending back to the early 2000s - for both properties and for room rentals.
