Arteta urges fans to go crazy for Gunners

- TOM CANTON

ARSENAL v BRENTFORD Premier League: KO 7.30pm

MIKEL ARTETA has called on Arsenal's fans to bring some animal magic to their clash against Brentford.

The Gunners failed to make their man advantage count at Chelsea over the weekend, leaving with a 1-1 draw.

And as he gears up for a frenetic period of winter fixtures, both domestically and in the Champions League, Arteta called on the Arsenal faithful to bring the noise tonight.

Describing the game against the Bees as “vital” and “massive”, Arteta said: “That is an opportunity at 7.30pm everybody, 7.30pm kickoff, to be at the Emirates, bouncing and putting energy to win the game.

“That is the opportunity that we have - 7.30pm like animals, everybody at the Emirates to go again and beat Brentford.”

To grasp that opportunity, Areteta is well aware they must match Brentford’s physicality and also find a way to deal with the chaos caused by long throws from Michael Kayode.
