Brentford will not accept less than £10m for Tottenham target Frank

- BY JOHN CROSS

TOTTENHAM chairman Daniel Levy will have to pay the full £10million to land top managerial target Thomas Frank.

Brentford inserted a buyout clause in Frank's contract, a tactic more common in player deals rather than for managers.

And the Bees have no reason to compromise on the figure while Frank also shook hands on staying for another year, an agreement that would disappear if the fee is met in full.

Levy has a reputation for driving a hard bargain but is unlikely to get any wriggle room this time.

Tottenham have had a clear-out after sacking Ange Postecoglou on Friday, including the Aussie's backroom staff, while there has also been a cull on members of the club hierarchy.

Technical director Johan Lange has been a notable survivor - and that is because he has strong links and a good relationship with fellow Dane Frank.
