Niall: Last year's loss fired us up

Cavan's lifeless performance in their 1-8 to 0-20 defeat to Mayo in Castlebar was particularly forgettable — except for the Breffni men who were on the receiving end.

Once the draw for this year's group stages were made and Cavan knew that their path to redemption ran through Castlebar, not to mention a rematch with Tyrone who knocked them out of Ulster, the boys in blue were determined to set things right.
