Don't fall victim to high prices on Disney tickets

IRISH families considering a trip of a lifetime to Disney parks could save several thousand euro by arming themselves with knowledge beforehand, a travel expert has insisted.

As primary schools prepare to break for summer holidays, travel agent and mum-of-two Laura Shamel warns that unsuspecting consumers can find themselves shelling out over €170 extra per person, per day, on the gate ticket alone.

Laura, who runs Dreamears Adventures and is an independent travel agent expert on Disney, advises: "There are several ways to sidestep the often exorbitant costs of Disneyland Paris and Florida, it's a question of forewarned is forearmed.

"A 14-day Magic Ticket works out at approximately €45 per person, per day, but on-the-gate prices for a single day ticket can set you back roughly €217.
