LADIES Gaelic Football Association President Trina Murray has led tributes to former LGFA President Walter Thompson, who passed away last Saturday.

Thompson served as President of the LGFA from 2000-2003.
Renowned as a hugely influential character, he began volunteering with the LGFA having spent a lifetime in Gaelic games and with his beloved Erins Isle.
