KNEECAP TO GET THE GLAST' WORD

KNEECAP are set to perform at Glastonbury despite calls from some British politicians to remove them from the lineup.

Last month, Kneecap member Liam Liam Og O hAnnaidh, who performs as Mo Chara, was charged by Metro-politan Police with a terror offence after he allegedly displayed a Hezbollah flag at a gig last November.

Footage had also emerged of the group telling a crowd: “The only good Tory is a dead Tory. Kill your local MP.”

There has been high interest in whether the organisers would back the group, given recent controversies that have seen them dropped from multiple concert billings including Glasgow's TRNSMT festival.

But yesterday, the official Glastonbury lineup was published showing Kneecap as performing on the West Holts Stage on Saturday, June 28.
