George 'felt late Irish mother grab him to stop gig fall'
CULTURE Club star Boy George says he felt his late Irish mum "grab" him to stop him plunging into a theatre pit and crushing an audience member in a near-disaster.
The terrifying accident happened during a production of Moulin Rouge on Broadway in which he played Harold Zidler for a run of 10 weeks last year.
Speaking about the passing of his Dublin-born mother Dinah O'Dowd in 2023, the singer said:
