Maresca shrugs off City speculation & says his focus is on Chelsea job

ENZO MARESCA has promised he will still be the Chelsea boss next season despite interest from Manchester City.

Maresca was previously assistant to Pep Guardiola (right) at the Etihad and is high up on the list to replace him with the Spaniard closing in on a decade with the club and City starting to make succession plans.

But asked if he could promise he would still be the Blues head coach next season, Maresca replied: “Absolutely, yes. I have a contract until 2029.

“This is speculation, 100 percent. So I have nothing to add because I don't pay attention.
