Taty wants to be Hammers' knight in shining armour
TATY CASTELLANOS insists West Ham have not had their Premier League chips just yet.
And the chess-loving Argentina forward is ready to follow in the footsteps of compatriots Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano to help the struggling Hammers pull-off an unlikely checkmate on their relegation rivals.
Castellanos has made an instant impact since a £26 million move from Lazio this month — finding the net to help seal a first win in 11 games in the FA Cup against QPR, as two of his first three appearances have ended in victory to help lift the mood at the London Stadium.
South American duo Tevez (below) and Mascherano (right) played prominent roles in a successful battle against relegation 19 years ago.
