Holders in final after Kerry stall

DEFENDING champions Tyrone are through to their third All-Ireland U20 final in four seasons following a six-point win over Kerry in Portlaoise.

The sides met in O'Moore Park last season in the All-Ireland decider with the Red Hands winning by the same margin.

For the Kingdom, their wait for a first All-Ireland title at the grade since 2008 goes on. That in itself it puzzling enough, but Tomás Ó Se will be wondering just how his side failed to score at least one goal during the game.
