FUNERAL FOR DROWNED STUDENT TO BE HELD

A SECONDARY school student who died in a swimming tragedy at a popular beach last week will be laid to rest tomorrow.
Kofi Jackson Owusu, 15, died on Friday after getting into difficulty while swimming at Laytown beach in Co Meath with friends.
Gardai and emergency services - including the Irish Coast Guard Rescue 116 helicopter and Drogheda Coast Guard - launched a search operation following reports of a male in difficulty in the water.
