FATAL HIT-AND-RUN DRIVER TO GET LICENCE BACK

A MAN disqualified from driving for 20 years when he fatally injured a boy in a hit-and-run has been told his licence will be restored in mid-2027.
Ruadhan Tracey, 44, of Lagore Green, Dunshaughlin, Co Meath, received a 20-month sentence in 2014. He pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to careless driving causing the death of Conor Hickey, 14, at Faussagh Road, in Cabra, on December 2, 2011.
