BILL Clinton appears to have been photographed alongside Ghislaine Maxwell in the newly-released Epstein files.

The former US president can be seen in a swimming pool with another person, whose identity has been redacted.The US Department of Justice began unveiling the latest batch of Epstein files late last night.

Papers connected to the disgraced paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein went live on the department's website under a section called "Epstein Library" at around 9pm.

Mr Clinton forged social and charitable ties with Jeffrey Epstein following his departure from the White House, including numerous journeys aboard Epstein's private aircraft, with flight records suggesting approximately 26 or 27 trips between 2002 and 2003.

Clinton's representatives describe these as four excursions linked to Clinton Foundation business.
