Pressure’s on but manager Liam insists Norwich ready to take off
LIAM MANNING is confident he can turn things around at Norwich after being spared from the axe - for now.
The beleaguered Canaries coach is clinging on by his fingernails after a disastrous start to the season that could see his underperforming side suffer a sixth straight defeat at home to Hull today.
The Canaries are winless at Carrow Road so far and if you throw in the damaging East Anglian derby loss to Ipswich, the under-pressure boss is still lucky to be in work.
Norwich are in danger of relegation to League One for the first time since 2009, but despite growing calls for his head from fed-up fans, Manning, 40, has been backed by owner Mark Attanasio and sporting director Ben Knapper.
