Heckled-again king offers to help cops as William and Kate also speak out

KING Charles last night spoke of his "profound concern" at allegations over his brother Andrew's conduct in the Epstein files.

The UK royal said he will "stand ready to support" the police if approached over the claims in a dramatic intervention in the paedo financier's dossier saga.

A dump last week of three million Epstein files involved pictures of the former prince, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, crawling over a woman on the floor.

And he appears to have knowingly shared confidential information with Jeffrey Epstein from his official work as UK trade envoy in 2010 and 2011, which police are now investigating.

CONDUCT

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said: "The king has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor's conduct.

"While the specific claims in question are for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police we stand ready to support them as you would expect.

"As was previously stated, Their Majesties' thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse."

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales have spoken for the first time about the Epstein scandal, saying they are "deeply concerned" about the latest revelations in the scandal.

William and Kate also said their thoughts remained with the victims.
