I FEEL devastated for that great young man Josh Honohan.

After cancelling his holiday to Malaga over what should have been a dream call-up under Heimir Hallgrímsson to Ireland's senior squad, he has had a Macedonia.

In the last match before the break, Shamrock Rovers would have been disappointed to draw 0-0 with Galway United.

But any team under John Caulfield is going to be rugged, rough and tough and up for the battle.

So the 0-0 draw would have been frustrating for Stephen Bradley, but hardly the end of the world.

But it must have felt like the end of the world for young Josh when the Hoops boss went on an incredible assassination of him post-game, on an evening when Hallgrímsson and John O'Shea were watching from the stands in Tallaght.
