Alice 'never got answer on missing son Philip

THE mum of missing schoolboy Philip Cairns has passed away.
Alice Cairns died "suddenly but peacefully", according to her death notice.
It read: "Late of Ballyroan Road, Templeogue and formerly Lisnafunchin, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny. Suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her family."
It added that Alice will be "deeply missed" and "remembered always by her heartbroken family".
The notice posted to RIPie also said "family flowers only" before adding "donations if desired to a charity very close to Alice's heart, The National Missing Persons Helpline".
No funeral details have been released yet.
