The women's World Cup got underway last night with hot favourites England in action against the USA, and it's hard to back against the hosts going all the way to the title.

Indeed, while it's encouraging to see the competition expanded to 16 teams, there are, realistically, only about two genuine contenders - John Mitchell's side (1/3) and the Black Ferns of New Zealand (5/2).

Canada and France are both capable of taking out one of the two big guns if everything went according to plan, but that is unlikely. Other than that, some sides will receive heavy drubbings.
