8 rushed to hospital after bus hit tree

EIGHT people were rushed to hospital after a minibus carrying college students hit a tree.

The incident at Tirgracy Road in Co Antrim yesterday afternoon sparked a major police incident.

A police spokesperson said: "Police and other emergency services attended a one-vehicle road traffic collision on the Tirgracy Road in Antrim, shortly before 12.30pm.
