I was completely obsessulated (to borrow Glinda’s vernacular) with the first Wicked movie about the Wicked Witch of the West, which concluded with Cynthia Erivo's rousing battle cry from Defying Gravity.
In Wicked: For Good, 12 time turns have passed since Elphaba (Erivo) escaped the clutches of the fraudulent Wizard (Jeff Goldblum) and Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh) to live in exile and plot audacious acts of protest, such as disrupting construction of the yellow brick road linking the Emerald City to Munchkinland.
