1,000 troops are hit in single raid
UKRAINIAN special forces have claimed almost 1,000 Russian casualties in a single stunning “behind enemy lines" raid on the front line.
Troops from Kyiv’s elite Timur Special Unit circled behind a large formation of Russian infantry in the Sumy area, in northeast Ukraine.
Intelligence estimates claim at least 334 advancing Kremlin troops were killed and more than 550 wounded in the daring ground and air strike.
