MR HOPE STREET was heavily backed into favourite yesterday in the wake of his fine third behind subsequent King George winner The Jukebox Man and Grand National favourite Iroko at Haydock.

Yes, that graduation chase was slowly run. but there was a lot to like in Mr Hope Street's jumping and the way he came past the 19lb-higher-rated Knapper Hill on the run-in.
