CONSTITUTION Hill will be expected to redeem his reputation by outpointing State Man and current champion Golden Ace in a fascinating renewal of the Boodles Champion Hurdle in Punchestown.

Nicky Henderson's eight-year-old, 2023 champion, is coming into the race on the back of two falls and without regular partner Nico de Boinville, currently injured, and replaced by James Bowen.

Unbeaten in a point (for Warren Ewing) and ten hurdle starts (including eight at Grade 1 level), Constitution Hill relinquished that untarnished record when stepping at the fifth flight and crashing in the Unibet Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
