THOMAS KAMINSKI said he was determined to help Luton's survival bid despite losing his father Jacek last week.

- BY IAN WINROW

The keeper insisted he wanted to play and responded with a fourth clean sheet in eight games that helped clinch the Hatters' third successive win and deal a blow to Coventry's play-off push.

And he thanked boss Matt Bloomfield who accompanied Kaminski on his trip back to Belgium.

Kaminski (above) said: "It's been a tough couple of days but it went so quick as well.

"I was adamant that I wanted to play and the boys gave me the clean sheet today, they were brilliant and we deserved to win.
