Taoiseach backs 'tone deaf' video

TAOISEACH Micheal Martin has defended an official social media video offering advice to people moving back in with their parents - warning against “knee-jerk reactions”.

The clip, produced by the Housing Agency in partnership with SpunOut, was yesterday described as “tone deaf” and “patronising”.

It shows two young women offering advice to anyone moving back in with their parents.

One says: “Sharing a home with family members as an adult is very different to doing so as a child.”
