Shels beating Hajduk Split is surely our League's top result ever in Europe

WITH Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers both striving to reach the Conference League league phase over the next week, I'm in a reflective mood.

What used to be a pipedream for our clubs is now an achievable goal on an annual basis, not just for the League of Ireland champions, but for others too.

So I've picked out my top five European games involving Irish clubs. These are not necessarily the 'best' matches, more so what I deem to be the most significant moments that made the biggest impact over time.
