Public has been failed by Budget

Irish Daily Mirror

October 11, 2025

AN ESRI report about Budget 2026 confirms everything we already knew about it.

It underlines how there was very little provision to help hard-pressed families and workers.

The ESRI estimates measures in the Budget will cut disposable incomes in average households by 2%.

At a time when many are still feeling the pressure from the rising cost of living, it is shameful so little was done to help them.
