Police inquiry as star suffers ear damage

Newcastle skipper Jamaal 'attacked' in street brawl

NEWCASTLE United club captain Jamaal Lascelles was caught up in a mass brawl outside a nightclub.

The centre-back reportedly suffered damage to his ear as he was punched in the back of the head several times after leaving the bar.

A group of "six to eight" men were involved and it is claimed the star was hit "from all angles" before retaliating.

His 19-year-old brother was allegedly elbowed in the throat and a pal was knocked out.

At one point Lascelles, 29, appears to have had a bottle of vodka thrown at him, narrowly missing his head. And an unknown man aims a kick at someone on the ground.
