Left crushed after he dumped me for his other woman

My partner has moved on with a woman hed been having an affair with and I'm heartbroken.

A few weeks ago, I noticed him acting weird around his phone, but didn't say anything. Instead, I waited for a time when I could look at his phone and, when I did, there were dozens of messages between him and another woman.

Then a couple of weekends ago, he told me he had to be away for work for a few nights, so I said “fine”, but I tracked his phone to a hotel a few miles away and waited in the car park like an undercover detective until I spotted him with a woman. I didn't confront them and waited until he came home to say something.

He was so cold about it, saying she was an old friend and they'd reconnected, and he'd realised he wants to give things a go with her.
