KRISZTIAN KERESZTES admits Dundee United fed off Celtic's horror run of results to end their own winless streak in Wednesday's tumultuous Tannadice fightback.

Keresztes slammed home a 58th minute equaliser to cancel Daizen Maeda's opener before Zac Sapsford produced a wonderful finish four minutes later. United had gone seven without a victory, stretching back to October, going into the match.

But Keresztes says they knew Celtic weren't "in good shape".

And the giant Hungarian defender insists the victory - achieved after a halftime masterclass from Goodwin - has answered some of the criticism aimed at United's defenders.
