Judge orders 19-year-old Hanlon to be psychologically assessed in jail

A 19-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with the murder of an Irish Rail worker who was found dead in at his home earlier this month.
Nathan Hanlon appeared before a special sitting of Clonmel District Court yesterday.
He was charged with the murder of Ian Walsh, 49, at his home in Ravenswood Estate on Cregg Road in Carrick-on-Suir Co Tipperary, on August 2.
Sgt Denis Ryan gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution. He said that Hanlon made no reply when the charge was put to him under caution.
