'It's a no-brainer... Hollywood star's kidney gift to stranger

HOLLYWOOD'S Jesse Eisenberg is donating a kidney to a stranger and is urging others to copy his example.

The star of The Social Network said he first had the idea of a live organ donation around a decade ago but only recently set the process in motion.

Jesse, 42, told NBC: "I got bitten by the blood donation bug.

EXCITED

I'm doing an altruistic donation in mid-December. I'm so excited to do it.

"It's essentially risk-free and so needed. I think people will realise that it's a no-brainer, if you have the time and the inclination."

Explaining the process he said: "Let's say person X needs a kidney in Kansas and their child was going to donate but is not a match, but somehow I am.
