ISAK'S CROCK SHOCKER FOR KOP

LIVERPOOL fear Alexander Isak has suffered a significant lower leg injury as they await the results of an MRI scan today.

The Sweden international (left) picked up the injury when he was caught by Tottenham's Micky van de Ven when opening the scoring in Saturday's 2-1 win in north London.

Isak had only been on the pitch for 11 minutes as a secondhalf substitute and did not celebrate with his teammates before being helped off by Dr Jonathan Power and Chris Morgan, two members of the club's medical team.

Liverpool are now awaiting the results of his scan but are braced for bad news, which will come as a major blow to both the player and Reds boss Arne Slot.
