Julia Bradbury chats about her new show and shares her secrets to a healthy life

- WORDS: JEN PHARO

Spending a few days connecting with people and nature is just what the doctor ordered for Julia, 54, as she has just faced a fresh health scare - the discovery of a benign brain cyst.

The mum of three has been public about her health since being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021. Today, Julia, mum to Zephyr, 13, and 10-year-old twins Xanthe and Zena, is cancer free, but the battle has changed how she views her health and how she treats her body.

"My breast cancer diagnosis made me incredibly curious and really made me start exploring interesting avenues to do with personalised, preventative health and medicine," she says.

"Since I came out the other side I'm so much more grateful for every day that I'm here on earth. I'm very mindful of my health, and it has made me really take it seriously and honour it."

Determined to discover more, Julia underwent an MRI scan, and feared doctors may find more breast cancer-related problems - but what they did find surprised her.
