Irish Daily Mirror
|April 26, 2025
FIELD OF GOLD is “pointing nicely” towards the Betfred 2,000 Guineas next Saturday, when he will bid to give his trainer John Gosden a first victory in the colts’ Classic.
The grey son of Kingman, second for the Gosdens’ Clarehaven Stable in the 2,000 Guineas 11 years ago, made an impressive return to action with a three-and-a-half-length victory in the Group 3 Craven Stakes over Newmarket's Rowley Mile 10 days ago.
