Chris and Freddie ready to unleash some Electric power

GOOD GORD

ROCK down the Electric avenue for Cheltenham's Pertemps Network Handicap Hurdle.

Granted today’s longer 3m distance, ELECTRIC MASON (2.55) is likely to take his useful hurdles form to a higher level.

He finished a close third behind current Champion Hurdle favourite The New Lion and subsequent Listed winner Califet En Vol at Newbury last November.

It was no disgrace to, again, finish behind Dan Skelton’s Cheltenham Festival hero in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at the same track over Christmas.

His handicap form later in the season wasn't as good but he was taken out of his comfort zone over a distance that was always going to be on the sharp side.
