Usyk pulls plug on big Fury fight in a row over clause on rematch

TYSON FURY will not face Oleksandr Usyk after the Ukrainian pulled the plug on talks amid a row over the rematch clause.

The rivals were closing in on a deal for the first undisputed heavyweight showdown since 1999 with their teams almost ready to announce the Wembley Stadium showdown.

Englishman Fury, 34, was to put his WBC title on the line against the WBA, IBF and WBO champion in a blockbuster battle.

But on Tuesday night, Usyk left his training camp, held in a secret location, after growing tired of talks with Fury.

All parties believed they were on the verge of a deal after a crucial breakthrough on Sunday.
