D’OR OPEN FOR COEUR TO GET BACK ON TRACK

WITHOUT a win since August 2023, the Dermot Weld-trained Coeur D'or could return to winning ways in tomorrow's finale in Gowran Park, the Thomastown Race.

Nine-year-old Coeur Dor is proven in top handicap company — including two victories in top premier handicaps.

In fact, his only non-handi-cap success came when landing his maiden, on the beach in Laytown, in September 2022.

The following year, Weld’s charge bagged both the Colm Quinn BMW Mile in Galway, off a mark of 92, and the Cambridgeshire at the Curragh, off a 5lb higher mark.
