Dacia have blown us away with their stellar showcase

DACIA have been quietly beavering away on some fairly impressive stuff, so last week we took a little trip over to Paris to get a gander at what they've got planned.

And while improved versions of the 7-seat Jogger, Sandero Stepway and Bigster impressed, it was the very cool little Hipster concept that got the giant airship hangar they were all on display in really talking

This is the Dacia Hipster - a near-ready city e-car concept that was packed full of great ideas and looks both retro and futuristic in a rare double win.

It's a four-seater electric city car, yet it has a boot that can fit a washing machine (if you kick the rear occupants out at Power City).

FUTURE

As it's not a production model, we have no real facts or figures but the idea is to churn out lightweight electric cars to meet the 40km-per-day needs of most drivers with what's intended to be a second car for under 15 grand.

It really looks the part and we will be keeping a close eye on its future.

But back to reality, and Dacia were keen for us to see their latest Sandero, Sandero Stepway, Bigster hybrid and facelifted Jogger - as well as the updated fully-electric Spring compact.
