PART of a commercial court case has been settled regarding a dispute over the distribution of insurance payouts to apartment owners in Creeslough, Co Donegal.

CREESLOUGH INSURANCE CASE PART SETTLED

Four men, three women and three children, ranging in age from five to 59, died in the explosion on October 7, 2022.

The court heard yesterday the case involved apartment owners at the site of the Applegreen service station.

The property is owned by Vivo Shell Ltd, which developed the property and owned three of the 16 apartments. It was insured by Aviva Insurance Ireland Ltd.

EXPRESS

Aviva sued Vivo Shell plus several of the other apartment owners, who are couples and individuals.
